At Summit Dental, We believe in teamwork…and our mission is to include you on our team.

Dr. Michael P. Neal, D.D.S.
Dr. Michael P. Neal believes in always looking for a better way. He understands that when people aren't happy with their teeth they often live with embarrassment and shame, sometimes avoiding smiling, laughing and socializing. It is his goal to find the best way to solve dental problems so that Summit Dental patients can live the life that they deserve.
“Service to Humanity is the best work of Life”…the final words of the Jaycee creed and words that reflect how Dr. Mike Neal looks at his role in life. Dr. Michael Neal prefers to be called Mike. He is a highly skilled cosmetic and general dentist who is gentle, personable and caring. He is a native of Utica, Nebraska, graduating from Centennial High School as a National Merit Scholar. He attended undergraduate college at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (Go Big Red!) and is a 1986 graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. He opened his Sidney practice in 1987, moving to our current location in 2001. Dr. Neal founded The Summit Dental Group in 2002.
Dr. Neal and his wife, Christi, have been married since 1984. They have three children, Patrick, Sean and Megan. Like many parents, following and supporting their children is the center of their lives.

Mike was raised with a belief in civic involvement and volunteerism. He has been active at church as a choir leader, as a member of different councils and as school board president. He also was very involved in the Junior Chamber of Commerce, serving as the President of the Nebraska Jaycees in 2000. Along the way he had the pleasure of meeting and helping people from all over the nation. He currently serves on the Cheyenne County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
Dr. Neal is very passionate in his belief that education never ends. He has continually sought out the highest level of classes so that he may better serve his patients. Our team has attended the continuum of classes at the Schuster Center in Scottsdale, Arizona so that we might better serve our patients. He chose to develop his knowledge of the entire chewing system (TMD problems) by flying to the University of Oregon to attend and graduate from all levels of Orognathic Bioesthetic International (OBI). He is also certified in dental implantology and serves as the Secretary for the Nebraska Dental Association.
Dr. Neal's greatest joy in dentistry is getting to know his patients, their interests and their concerns. This is best summed up by another line from the Jaycee creed, “Earth's greatest treasure lies in human personality.”
